This is a solo exhibition about being caught between different experiences, modes of speaking, and one’s relationship with the surroundings. Through textile works, it explores themes of war, collective memory, and women’s resilience and vulnerability. Repetitive handiwork here becomes both a refuge and a way to endure the unnameable. The rhythm of the hands records the passage of time, while the fragility of the materials, the tension they create, and their physical closeness speak of insecurity, care, and a quiet attempt to maintain sensitivity. Recognisable forms and domestic references lose their usual purpose, highlighting the boundary between protection and helplessness, order and its decay. The exhibition unfolds as an intermediate, liminal space between personal sensitivity and exploration, where women’s narratives offer an opportunity for recognition, closeness, and community.
