The exhibition ‘In and of Itself’ brings together three emerging female artists whose creative paths crossed during the Švėgžda Drawing Competition in 2025. They are united by drawing as a way of thinking from which distinct artistic practices grow. Their shared starting point consists of three trajectories. Austė Skardžiukaitė-Kabašinskienė explores the theme of the sacredness of life and related questions of human nature in her work. Greta Marija Vaitkevičiūtė expands her drawing into the physical space, forming relief paintings, objects, and figures that balance between playfulness, the grotesque, and the domestic. Angelė Šyvokaitė works across different media, focusing primarily on the themes of home, the garden, and more-than-human
