Ksenija Cvetkova DIRVA / DIRT.
„… And I think of dirt when I think of sex, and I think of dirt when I think of a city, and I think of dirt when I remember one of the many myths of creation. Or was it clay? Dirty dirty slate is every photograph ever made, dirt is on the lens, dirt is on the hands, hands are dirt. Does dirt ever turn soil apart from in one’s poetic pursuits?“
We are presenting the first solo exhibition by emerging artist Ksenija Cvetkova. Currently living and working in London, her photography sits at the collision point between documentary and fiction—a conceptual exploration revealed through themes of home, guilt, sexuality, and memory.
