Laisvydė Šalciūtė. Her creative work combines printmaking, painting, and conceptual narrative, frequently exploring themes of human identity, memory, femininity, and cultural symbols. Her pieces are rich in irony, grotesque, and literary and historical references, through which she casts a critical eye over societal norms and everyday paradoxes. The artist’s style is characterised by a decorative quality, a complex system of symbols, and a visual narrative reminiscent of a dream or a theatrical setting.
