Ksenija Cvetkova  DIRVA / DIRT.

“Thinking about sex, I think about dirt; thinking about the city, I think about dirt; and thinking about one of the world’s many creation myths—I think about dirt. Or perhaps it was clay? A very dirty surface—that is every photograph ever taken; dirt on the lens, dirt on the hands, and the hands themselves are dirt. Wre are presenting the first solo exhibition by emerging artist Ksenija Cvetkova. Currently living and working in London, her photography sits at the collision point between documentary and fiction—a conceptual exploration revealed through themes of home, guilt, sexuality, and memory.
